Where and How Do We Find Peace?

I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world. -  John 16:33 NIV

Jesus Christ came to earth as God in the flesh. The Son of Man and the Son of God. He is our peace but because of original sin and our fallen nature we are separated from God - as does our own sin. We had to be redeemed by the broken body and shed blood of Christ.

When we confess our sins, repent from our sins (turn another way) and receive Jesus as the gift and sacrifice of God, we find peace with God - and begin a path to peace with ourselves and our fellow humans.

In His safe, secure and loving hands, we need guidance to face ourselves, practice forgiveness, learn to love and many more lessons that will take us to the end of our days on earth.
