Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice! Philippians 4:4 (NIV)
There is always something to rejoice in - and praise God for. Just look closely at the photo on this page.

The photo contains 7 things that can lead us into praise. Let's take things from bottom and go clockwise.

1) At the bottom is the origin of the quote above: The scriptures! They are always a source of rejoicing as we hear God, see God in action, read all His promises and get guidance.

2) The awesome power and beauty of the sea... and just think of all the God's creatures we see and those even unknown to humanity.

3) The bird-life with the natural power of flight that God says He feeds each day and not one falls to the earth without Him knowing.

4) The mountains that remind us of the stable character of God - God our rock of all ages.

5) At the top is the Moon symbol of all the planets in the universe - both seen and unseen, explored and unexplored.

6) The centre is the centre of God's creation - you and me. Designed in love for love. Designed with such intricacy and genius that man will never be able to clone himself, because we contain the blueprint of God - the image of God.

7) And lastly, the awesomeness of the background - the sky in all its varied colours and beauty.

Are these not sufficient realities to teach you and me to praise God and have a daily rejoicing heart?
