The most important thing for you to understand in your new relationship with God is that an immediate change took place - one you may have been aware of or not - a transformation you may have felt or not. We call this "justification" - Just-As-If-I-Never-Sinned.

You were transported instantly from the kingdom of darkness into the Kingdom of Light - into the Kingdom of Christ. He has saved you. You have been born again - never to be the same again, even if you run away... He will never give up on you.

You now belong to Jesus. He is your Elder Brother. Your Divine Friend! From here on your new Counsellor, the Holy Spirit will (with your permission) begin to work inside you and change your heart, attitudes, your pain and all about you - conforming you to the image of Christ. This we call "sanctification" - the process of making us clean and holy.

In some ways, growing in your relationship with God resembles putting together a puzzle with the various “pieces” of experiencing God coming together to help us know Him in a deeper way. The Free book will help you understand and put the pieces together.

The pieces are the Holy Spirit, faith, God’s Word, prayer, fellowship, and obedience.

The more time you spend in understanding and applying what God’s Word says about each “piece,” the more purpose you will find in your life with Christ. And as a result, you will experience the adventure and significance He desires for you.

Now That You Have Entered Into a Personal Relationship with God...
The moment you received Christ by faith, as an act of your will, many things happened, including the following:

1. Christ came into your life (Revelation 3:20 and Colossians 1:27).
2. Your sins were forgiven (Colossians 1:14).
3. You became a child of God (John 1:12).
4. You received eternal life (John 5:24).
5. You began the great adventure for which God created you (John 10:10; 2 Corinthians 5:17; and 1 Thessalonians 5:18).

Can you think of anything more wonderful that could happen to you than entering into a personal relationship with Jesus Christ? Would you like to thank God in prayer right now for what He has done for you? By thanking God, you demonstrate your faith.
