Live Right, Be Merciful And Walk Humbly With God

A simple code of behaviour emerges: do the right thing, be merciful, walk humbly before God.

Compiling this post, this touching old song came to mind from Godspel a musical in the 70's.
"O dear Lord three things I pray: to follow you more nearly, see you more clearly and love you more dearly, day by day by day by day...".

These words tug at my heart and remind me of the first love I had for Jesus and His mission on earth.

May I never lose my love again. Never lose my way as I had done for over 20 years. So much time waisted in pursuit of sin and self-gratification.

I want to be on fire for Him and live right, love mercy and walk humbly before God and man.
