When I come to Jesus - and keep coming - He takes away our burden of sin. But the life burdens he deals with differently. As I understand scripture and mainly the teachings of Jesus, Paul, James and Peter - and based on my life experience - he does not take them away! Rather, through the yoke He teaches us to carry and bear the load (our cross) and learn from life and also thereby, to have compassion on others and invite them, as a fellow "burden-bearer" - to "yoke up to Jesus". The Lord is my Shepherd...
