How To Walk Through Your Fear
Before we have the courage to walk through our fears we need a few things. Here are some of them. We need to:
- Identify the things that make us anxious and afraid
- Identify the triggers that spark off the fear-response
- Know ourselves - for example how we naturally deal with fear. Do we seek a quick solution; take medication; run from the situation; or blame someone or something?
Even when your path takes me through the valley of deepest darkness, fear will never conquer me, for you already have! Your authority is my strength and my peace. The comfort of your love takes away my fear. I’ll never be lonely, for you are near. Psalms 23:4 TPT
Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me. Psalms 23:4 (NIV)
Even when the way goes through Death Valley, I’m not afraid when you walk at my side. Your trusty shepherd’s crook makes me feel secure. Psalms 23:4 MSG
