Share One Anothers Burdens. Be Christ To The Wounded

Sin separates. Sin disconnects. Love binds and connects. Last night at the group we did what the early church did. We confessesed our need of God. We confessed our sins and then the body of believers - the Body of Christ - shared the burdens.

This was part of the power-house of the young church as they began a new way of life, living in community.

Carry one another’s burdens and in this way you will fulfill the requirements of the law of Christ [that is, the law of Christian love]. - Gal 6:2 AMP

Live creatively, friends. If someone falls into sin, forgivingly restore him, saving your critical comments for yourself. You might be needing forgiveness before the day’s out. Stoop down and reach out to those who are oppressed. Share their burdens, and so complete Christ’s law. If you think you are too good for that, you are badly deceived. - Galatians 6:1-3 MSG
