We All Hear the Voice of God But Don't Recognise It
So often we wish that God would speak clearly to us in a language we can understand. We wish to hear an audible voice giving us direction, comfort and answers for our deepest troubles.
For now, God has chosen several ways to speak to us. Among others: His Word through Scripture; the voices of other people; the soft, intimate voice of the Holy Spirit; and the Heavenly creation - the wonders in the skies!
To hear we need to be silent and listen. We need to become poor in spirit and hungry for the Master's voice. We need a sense of desperation, seeking truth. Seeking for His path not our own - His will not mine!
If you are hungry, thirsty and seeking, you will hear the music of His voice. Then you will burst into songs of praise at the fountain of His Presence - the Water of Life.
"When I taste Your goodness, I shall not want" - adapted from Psalm 23
"The heavens proclaim the glory of God. The skies display his craftsmanship. Psalms 19:1 (NLT)
"1) God’s splendor is a tale that is told, written in the stars. Space itself speaks his story through the marvels of the heavens. His truth is on tour in the starry vault of the sky, showing his skill in creation’s craftsmanship.
2) Each day gushes out its message to the next, night by night whispering its knowledge to all—
3) Without a sound, without a word, without a voice being heard,
4) Yet all the world can hear its echo. Everywhere its message goes out. What a heavenly home God has set for the sun, shining in the superdome of the sky! Psalms 19:1-4 (TPT)
