Be Salt. Be Light. Be Love

You must be sure that your light shines well. Then you will give light to other people. They will see all the good things that you do. Then they will praise God, who is your Father in heaven. Matthew 5:16 EASY

Jesus made us light to the world by shining His light into our lives. The Message version below, brings out both the context of Jesus' teaching and the central message, which is that we are called to make an impact in the communities where we live, people we know and on the world around us to bring Salt, Light and Love!

Here’s another way to put it: You’re here to be light, bringing out the God-colors in the world. God is not a secret to be kept. We’re going public with this, as public as a city on a hill. If I make you light-bearers, you don’t think I’m going to hide you under a bucket, do you?
